Here are the books that I’ve been reading.  Listing them out, I realize that I need to start reading more again.

House Rules by Jodi Picoult – ****

Escape from Mount Moriah: Memoirs of a Refugee Child’s Triumph by Jack Engelhard – **

Infinitely More by Alex Krutov – ***

A Life in Stitches: Knitting My Way through Love, Loss and Laughter by Rachael Herron – ***

I Will Carry You: The Sacred Dance of Grief and Joy by Angie Smith – *****

Ratings Explained:

***** – couldn’t put it down, everyone should read it.

**** – Great read

*** – Enjoyable

** – Good enough to finish

* – Not for me

What have you been reading?  Any recommendations for what I should read next?  The next three months will include the rest of summer and the first part of travel season, both excellent opportunities for reading.

  1. Kathryn, I didn’t realize you had a blog! I love when I find people I actually know that blog too, rather than just someone out there somewhere… Ha ha also I am so excited for you guys and your adoption adventure. It will be in our future in the next few years so I love getting to know people that have done it or are going though the process. You liked Angie Smith’s book? I have been following her story for quite sometime but have never committed to actually getting the book, I would love to hear what you thought!

    • I loved the book. A friend from church recommended it to me last Mother’s Day. I learned a lot from it even though at times I was disliked how much it made me cry. It was great!
